I am currently an Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University. Before joining Columbia, I was a Research Scientist at Boston University. Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology - BIPS, advised by Vanessa Didelez. I did my graduate work at Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, where I was a member of the Brain Health Lab and advised by Michelle C. Carlson.

My research interests lie at the intersection of cognitive impairment epidemiology and causal inference methodology. My CV can be found here, and links to my published papers can be found here. Currently, I am pursuing three primary lines of research:

  1. Investigating how environmental exposures, like traffic-related air pollution, affect cognitive aging, decline, and impairment.
  2. Expanding our knowledge of how vascular-related exposures contribute to cognitive impairment risk.
  3. Promoting, developing, and advancing the appropriate use of causal inference methods in epidemiological research, including matching the causal question to the causal method being used and evaluating the impact of possible sources of bias on study results.

If there is overlap in our interests, feel free to reach out to discuss possible collaborations!

I am a member of the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics and the Society for Epidemiologic Research.
